The rewinding stage begins with the parent roll being mounted onto the machine. As the paper unwinds, it passes through a series of rollers that control tension and alignment. Next, the cutting process takes place. Once the roll reaches the desired diameter, a rotary cutter slices it into individual rolls of standardized length. The cutting mechanism operates with high precision to ensure clean, uniform edges and consistent roll size. Advanced systems use sensors and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to adjust cut length automatically based on product specifications.

Finally, the packaging function ensures the finished rolls are protected and ready for distribution. Rolls are fed into a packaging unit where they are grouped (e.g., 4, 6, or 12 per pack), wrapped in plastic film, and sealed. Some lines include labeling, date coding, and shrink-wrapping for brand identification and tamper resistance. Fully automated packaging reduces labor costs and contamination risks.
