What is a Small Toilet Paper Making Machine?

It's a compact, semi-automatic or fully automatic production line designed for lower output than industrial giants.

It's a complete converting line on a smaller scale.

Key Characteristics:

• Input: Uses pre-produced Jumbo Rolls (large rolls of tissue paper) as the raw material.

• Output: Produces finished, consumer-ready toilet paper rolls.

• Scale: Suitable for production from a few hundred to several thousand rolls per day.

• Space: Requires a modest workshop space.

The Core Components of a Small Production Line

A small line consists of several machines that perform sequential tasks:

1. Unwind Stand: Holds the large jumbo roll and allows for controlled unwinding. It often has a splicing unit to seamlessly join a new jumbo roll when one runs out, avoiding停机.

2. Embosser (Optional but common): Passes the paper between two engraved rollers to create patterns (like hearts or diamonds). This adds aesthetic value and can improve softness by crinkling the paper.

3. Perforator & Rewinder: This is the heart of the machine.

   • It folds the paper into 2-ply (or more) if using multiple jumbo rolls.

   • It creates the perforated lines between sheets.

   • It winds the paper onto long cardboard cores, creating a "log" of toilet paper.

4. Log Saw / Cutter: A high-speed circular saw that cuts the long "log" into individual toilet paper rolls of the correct consumer size.

5. Auto Packaging Machine (Optional for very small setups): Wraps the individual rolls in plastic film or bags them into multi-roll packs. In the smallest setups, this can be done manually.
