The machine relies on continuous spiral angle winding technology, with the paper strip wound stably at an adjustable angle of 15° to 85° around the rotating mandrel. The whole process is fully automated with seamless connection of each procedure:
Unwinding & Tension Control: Multiple groups of large paper parent rolls are installed on matched unwind stands with stable tension control to avoid paper deviation, stretching or loosening during high-speed operation, ensuring consistent feeding accuracy.
Precision Gluing: Equipped with roller, spray or slot-die gluing systems, the machine evenly coats PVA glue, hot melt glue and other adhesives on the paper surface. Uniform glue amount guarantees firm lamination between paper layers without glue overflow or missing coating, avoiding tube delamination.
Angle Forming & Feeding: The forming head and guiding structure accurately fix the spiral winding angle according to production requirements, ensuring regular and orderly overlapping of each paper layer, which is the key to stable tube strength.
Spiral Winding & Laminating: The angled glued paper strips are continuously wound on the high-precision rotating mandrel. The mandrel rotates steadily to pull the paper for spiral wrapping, and the adhesive instantly bonds each layer tightly to form an integrated tubular structure.
Fixed-Length Cutting: When the paper tube extends to the preset length along the mandrel, the automatic rotary or reciprocating cutting saw performs precise fixed-length cutting with smooth and flat cutting ends without burrs.
Drying & Curing: The initially formed paper tubes are transported to the constant-temperature drying oven or infrared curing system to fully volatilize moisture and completely cure the adhesive, effectively improving tube hardness, structural stability and service durability.
Ejection & Stacking: After drying and shaping, the finished paper tubes are automatically pushed out by the ejection system, then sorted, stacked and bundled for direct storage and shipment.
Unwind Stands: Equipped with tension adjustment devices to stably support multi-layer paper parent rolls, ensuring synchronous and smooth paper feeding.
Precision Gluing Unit: Supports multiple gluing methods with adjustable glue output, realizing uniform and energy-saving gluing for different paper materials.
Forming Bridge & Winding Head: The core molding structure, accurately controlling spiral winding angle and paper overlapping precision to ensure tube roundness and wall thickness uniformity.
Replaceable Steel Mandrel: Determines the inner diameter of the paper tube. Various specifications of mandrels are replaceable to support customized production of different tube sizes.
Automatic Cutting System: High-speed fixed-length cutting with high dimensional accuracy, meeting standardized and customized length production demands.
Constant-Temperature Drying Oven: Realizes uniform curing of adhesive, eliminating soft tubes and deformed defective products.
PLC Intelligent Control Panel: The core control system, which can set and store parameters such as tube length, wall thickness (paper ply number), winding speed and cutting cycle, supporting one-key parameter switching for different products.
Automatic Pushing & Ejection Device: Realizes automatic demoulding of finished tubes, improving production efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Industrial Winding Cores: The most widely used scenario, serving as standard winding cores for textile fabrics, plastic films, BOPP/PET films, adhesive tapes, label rolls, printing paper and composite materials, adapting to high-speed slitting and rewinding production.
Construction Industry: Used as concrete column forming tubes (sonotubes) and hollow void forms, featuring high pressure resistance and stable molding effect.
Packaging Industry: Applied in heavy-duty mailing tubes, poster packaging tubes, artwork storage tubes and industrial packaging protection tubes, with strong compression resistance and not easy to deform.
Special Custom Scenarios: Suitable for fireworks casings, thermal insulation ventilation ducts, furniture auxiliary pipe fittings and other special industrial supporting fields.
A: Spiral cross overlapping structure provides higher overall strength, better compression resistance and more uniform wall thickness, not easy to deform during high-speed winding and long-term storage, which is more suitable for industrial high-standard applications.
A: Yes. It supports replacing different specification mandrels to change inner diameter, and adjusts the number of paper plies and winding parameters to control tube wall thickness, realizing multi-specification flexible production.
A: The equipment supports PVA white glue, hot melt adhesive and other environmental industrial adhesives, with adjustable gluing volume to adapt to different paper materials and hardness requirements.
A: The whole process from paper feeding, gluing, winding, cutting, drying to ejection is automatic. Only one operator is needed for parameter monitoring and material replenishment, saving labor cost.
