Toilet paper making machine is a compact production line designed for low to medium output, ideal for small businesses, startups, community
production, or farm diversification. It transforms large paper jumbo rolls into finished toilet paper rolls.
Semi-Automatic Machines: Require more manual intervention (e.g., loading cores, feeding paper, manual packing). Lower cost, suitable for very
small startups.
Fully Automatic Machines: Integrated lines that automate rewinding, embossing, perforating, cutting, logging, and sometimes even wrapping.
Higher output and consistency.
Key Components of a Complete Small Production Line
A full setup is more than just one machine; it's a line of connected equipment:
Toilet Paper Rewinding Machine: The core machine. It unwinds the large jumbo roll, piles 1-3 layers of paper, embosses patterns, perforates,
and winds it onto cardboard cores. Outputs long "logs."
Log Saw / Cutting Machine: Cuts the long rewound logs into individual toilet paper rolls of the desired size.
Toilet Paper Packaging Machine (optional but recommended): Can wrap individual rolls in film or poly, or pack multiple rolls into bags or boxes.
Manual packing is labor-intensive.
Key Features & Specifications to Look For
Production Speed: 80-150 m/min for small machines.
Rewinder Width: Standard is ~1.6m to 2.2m, determining the maximum sheet width.
Paper Ply: Can handle 1-ply, 2-ply, or 3-ply paper.
Core Inner Diameter: Usually for Φ40mm (1.5") or Φ38mm cardboard cores.
Roll Diameter: Adjustable, typically up to Φ130mm.
Embossing Patterns: Often comes with interchangeable embossing rollers for different patterns.
Power Requirements: Typically 220V/380V, 3-phase, with total power ranging from 5kW to 15kW.
Floor Space: A complete small line may require 30-50 square meters of clean, dry floor space.
The Basic Production Process
Loading: Large jumbo rolls (from recycled or virgin pulp) are mounted on the unwind stand.
Rewinding & Embossing: Paper is fed through the rewinder, layered, embossed for softness/texture, perforated, and wound onto cores.
Cutting: The long log is automatically transferred and cut into individual rolls.
Packaging: Rolls are manually or automatically counted, wrapped, and boxed.
