The toilet paper production machine is not a single machine but a complete production line that integrates several complex systems. The entire process is continuous and highly automated, transforming raw materials (pulp or recycled paper) into the final packaged rolls we use.
Holds the jumbo roll and controls the feeding of the paper into the line.
Two steel rolls, one with a raised pattern, press the paper plies together. This serves two purposes:
Aesthetics: Creates a decorative pattern.
Function: Plys the paper layers together (for 2-ply or more), improving bulk and softness.
If making 2-ply toilet paper, a thin line of glue is applied between the two layers to bond them after embossing.
The wide, multi-lane embossed paper is wound onto a long, narrow cardboard tube (the core) at high speed.
This creates a long, continuous "log" of toilet paper, with multiple rolls being formed side-by-side across the width of the machine.
A circular saw (Log Saw) then cuts this long log into individual toilet paper rolls of the correct size.
Wrapping: Individual rolls are automatically wrapped in plastic or paper film. This protects them and provides a surface for branding.
Multi-Packing: The individually wrapped rolls are grouped into larger packs (e.g., 4-packs, 9-packs, 12-packs).
Case Packing: The multi-packs are placed into cardboard boxes for shipping and distribution.
Palletizing: Robots or automated systems stack the cases onto pallets, which are then wrapped and shipped to distributors.
A1: A full toiletpaper production line mainly consists of jumbo roll unwinder, rewindingembossingperforating host, log saw cutting machine and roll packing machine. Auxiliary parts include air compressor and electrical control cabinet. Buyers can choose modular configuration and add units stepbystep according to production budget and output goals.
A2: It supports virgin woodpulp jumbo tissue rolls and recycledpulp parent rolls. Applicable paper grammage ranges from 14 g/m² to 23 g/m², and it can produce 1ply, 2ply or 3ply finished toilet paper rolls for household and commercial scenarios.
A3: Key influencing factors include operating speed, finished roll size setting, raw paper quality, operator proficiency and equipment maintenance status. The theoretical maximum speed cannot be sustained continuously if raw material quality fluctuates.
A4: For standard fullauto converting line, a workshop area of 300450 m² is recommended. Normally 23 operators per shift are enough. Semiautomatic configurations need more manual labor for handling and packing finished rolls.
A5: NRC Machinery provides factory warranty, English operation manuals and maintenance video tutorials, plus lifelong remote technical support. On-site commissioning and operator training are optional paid services. Spare parts can be delivered by sea or air. You may submit project inquiries via nrcmachinery.com for detailed solutions.
