Automatic Adhesive Tape Slitting and Rewinding Machine is a fully integrated system that automates the process of unwinding, slitting, and rewinding large rolls of material into multiple narrower rolls with precise widths and tight, neat roll formation. "Automatic" implies minimal operator intervention, often just for loading the jumbo roll and unloading the finished rolls.

Working Process (Step-by-Step)

1. Loading: An operator loads a jumbo roll onto the unwinding station and threads the material through the machine.

2. Setup: On the HMI, the operator inputs the job parameters: finished roll width, length, diameter, and core size. The slitter arbor is set up with the correct number and spacing of blades.

3. Startup: The machine is started. The web is guided, tensioned, and fed into the slitting station.

4. Slitting: The slitting blades cleanly cut the web into multiple strips.

5. Separation & Rewinding: The strips are separated and fed onto cores on the rewinding station.

6. Automatic Cycle: On a turret rewinder, when the rolls are complete, the turret indexes, and the cycle continues uninterrupted. The operator's only job is to unload finished rolls and load new cores.

7. Splicing: When the jumbo roll is nearly finished, the machine either alerts the operator to perform a manual splice or an automatic splicer joins the new roll.
