High Speed A4 Copy Paper Cutter Package Making Machine

The full production line integrates several machines into one seamless system.

1. Unwinding: A large jumbo roll of paper (can be over 2 meters wide and weigh over a ton) is loaded onto an unwinding stand.

2. Cutting (Slitting & Sheeting):

   • Slitting: The wide paper web first passes through a slitter, which uses circular knives to cut it into multiple, smaller widths corresponding to the long side of an A4 sheet (297mm).

   • Sheeting: The now-slit web moves into a cross-cutter (or sheeter), which chops it at precise intervals to create the short side of the A4 sheet (210mm). This creates a stream of individual A4 sheets.

3. Counting & Stacking: The A4 sheets are conveyed to a counting and stacking unit. This machine uses sensors or mechanical counters to gather exactly 500 sheets (for a standard 80 gsm ream) or any other pre-set count.

4. Compressing & Wrapping:

   • The stack of 500 sheets is compressed to remove air, making a tight, neat ream.

   • It is then automatically wrapped in a protective paper or plastic wrapper. The ends are folded and sealed.

5. Cartoning (Optional but common): The wrapped reams are then automatically collated (e.g., 5 reams per box) and packed into cardboard cartons for shipping and sale.

• Function: Takes a stack of large sheets or a roll and precisely trims it to A4 dimensions.

• Use Case: Ideal for on-demand cutting for specific print jobs rather than mass production of reams.

3. Automatic Ream Wrapping and Packing Machine

This machine is for businesses that already have cut A4 sheets but need to automate the final stages.

• Function: It automates the counting, stacking, compressing, and wrapping of loose sheets into finished reams.

• Use Case: A paper converter who buys pre-cut sheets in bulk and packages them under their own brand.
