1. Raw Material Preparation

• Jumbo Roll Unwinding: Large parent rolls (1.2-2.8m width, up to 2m diameter) are loaded onto unwind stands

• Ply Bonding: For 2- or 3-ply products, multiple tissue layers are combined using adhesive or mechanical bonding

2. Embossing and Perforation

• Embossing: Patterns pressed into paper for softness, bulk, and ply bonding

3. Rewinding and Log Formation

• Core Loading: Paperboard cores (typically 38mm or 42mm inner diameter) are fed automatically

• Rewinding: Paper is wound onto cores to predetermined diameter and sheet count

• Log Cutting: Continuous wound rolls are cut into shorter "logs" (usually containing 4-6 rolls)

4. Cutting and Sizing

• Log Sawing: Logs are cut into individual toilet rolls

• Edge Trimming: Ensuring clean edges and consistent roll width

5. Packaging

• Multi-Pack Formation: Grouping rolls (typically 4, 9, 12, or 24 rolls)

• Wrapping/Bagging: Using poly film or paper wrappers

• Case Packing: For larger wholesale packs
